
Dexed is a software synthesizer plug-in that emulates the sound of the Yamaha DX7, a popular digital synthesizer from the 1980s. It is available in various formats, including VST and AU for use in digital audio workstations (DAWs) on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Dexed offers a wide range of features, including the ability to edit and create new sounds, a built-in sequencer, and support for MIDI input and output. producers can use it to achieve the same classic, warm and characteristic sound of the DX7 in their productions.
As a software synthesizer, Dexed is relatively low cost compared to buying the original hardware synthesizer. This allows more producers to access the DX7 sound without going bankrupt.
